Bandon Dunes - A Head Professional's Story

A few members thought it would be great if I wrote a little article about my recent trip to North America’s #1 Golf Resort – Bandon Dunes. “It’s not about right and wrong, it’s about right and left (and high and low)”

Pro Tip: Pre-Shot Routine

Did you ever notice when you watch a Professional Golfer on TV they do the exact same thing prior to every shot? A good pre-shot routine is an effective method of improving your focus on the shot at hand. Although the pre-shot routine is very individual, a few things you may want to include are alignment, target, shot visualization and number of practice swings prior to hitting the ball. Take some time at the range and practice your routine on every shot. Practicing with a purpose will allow you ingrain your routine and transfer it to the golf course. Once you have established a comfortable pre-shot routine you will begin to notice improvement in your consistency and scores.
